What is trichology?
Trichology is the science of the human hair. The purpose of trichology is to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the human hair and scalp. Although most trichologists are not medically recognised, most of Belgravia’s trichologists are qualified nurses or doctors who have since been trained in the field of trichology.
Belgravia’s senior trichologist, Leonora Doclis, is a TAFE certified trichologist and heads training that all of our nurses and doctors go through before becoming Belgravia trichologists. A Belgravia trichologist is taught to deal with all of the hair loss and scalp conditions that are seen at the centre. These include male hair loss, female pattern hair loss, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium, diffuse hair loss, psoriasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis amongst many other conditions.
We have already helped tens of thousands of men and women to overcome their hair loss or scalp complaint so if you are at all worried, Belgravia’s superior medical facilities will ensure you receive the best trichology treatment available, ensuring the highest chances of recovery.
