What is trichology?

Trichology is the science of human hair. The purpose of trichology is to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders relating to human hair and the scalp.

Belgravia’s superintendent trichologist, Rali Bozhinova, qualified with Distinction from the Institute of Trichologists.

Together with our superintendent dermatologist, Dr. Elena, she heads up the training all our nurses, pharmacists and doctors go through before becoming Belgravia hair loss specialists.

Rali is also involved in the research and evaluation of Belgravia’s treatments, and keeps the hair loss specialists’ manual and training up to date.

Belgravia’s consultant trichologist and senior hair loss specialist, Leonora Doclis, is TAFE certified and, in addition to working closely with Rali and Dr. Elena, also regularly contributes to the hairlossANSWERS section of the Belgravia Hair Loss Blog.

The hair loss specialist team members are all qualified nurses and/or pharmacists.

As Belgravia hair loss specialists they are further taught to deal with all aspects of trichology relating to hair loss and scalp conditions seen at the centre.
