"Let me start by saying how welcoming and professional each and every member of staff is here. Makes a world of difference.
I’m writing this review to genuinely say thanks to the entire team, but also to give specific info for people with my type of hair. Also, female pattern hair loss is absolutely a thing and you don’t need to freak out about it at all. We have a skin care routine to try and combat signs of aging, right? It’s not that far off. Hear me out:
If you’re a curly girl struggling with volume due to some hair loss, I’m confident this treatment is going to save you money on hair products in the long run. To get your hair looking Shakira, you might be spending £6 here, £8 there for this and that “volume” product every few weeks. It all adds up- like the famous daily flat white phenomenon.
I think it takes longer to realise with curly hair that you’re lacking volume because you’re losing hair density, not because you’re not styling it properly…. It’s like you don’t realise you’re trying to cover up a developing bald patch, as curly hair hides the truth for a bit longer ;) If you find yourself constantly switching between expensive hair styling products because nothing will do the job anymore, it might be a good idea to find out if you have a diagnosable hair loss condition. The fabulous clinicians at Belgravia Centre will tell you if this is the case- with a free initial appointment!
Check with your doctor (as they will advise) but I went with the pills. I don’t see myself faffing with the topical treatment personally ???? and it’s easier to keep consistent.
Did I grow hair elsewhere? Yes I did, but not a massive amount by any stretch. I use IPL for hair removal and it works just great (not if you’re type 1 very pale skin with blond hair though.) I’ll take a tiny bit of extra body hair in exchange for a full head of hair *any day*.
Hope this helps!"
