The HairMax LaserComb is a patented and unique device that emits low-power laser therapy (LLLT) onto the scalp in order to reduce hair loss and promote hair growth.

The device is ‘FDA Cleared’ by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to promote hair growth and treat hair loss. This means that there was sufficient evidence provided to the FDA following clinical trials to show the device safely and effectively helps to prevent hair loss with regular use.

Belgravia has previously offered clients the LaserComb PRO 12 model. However, as of 2019, newer, more efficient LLLT devices, such as the LaserBand, have replaced the laser comb option.

LLLT devices can be used in addition to Belgravia’s tailored hair loss treatment courses, whether they contain appropriate formulations of high strength minoxidil, the oral DHT-blocker finasteride 1mg (men over 18 years of age only), or both these clinically-proven hair loss solutions.

They can also be used alongside other hair growth supporting products, such as highly-targeted Hair Vitalics food supplements, which feature a premium blend of key vitamins, minerals, amino acids and botanical extracts including biotin, zinc and selenium to encourage the maintenance of normal healthy hair growth.

How low level laser therapy works

Scientific studies on cell cultures have shown that laser light energy penetrates soft tissue and increases the action of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that is a major carrier of energy from one reaction site to another in all living cells. The most common example of light converting into chemical energy is photosynthesis, where plants are fed via light converted into chemical energy to improve and speed up growth. The HairMax LLLT devices work in the same way, by improving and speeding up hair growth and revitalising, thickening and strengthening your existing hair.
