Laser Comb for Women
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) Treatment Device for Female Hair Loss
The HairMax LaserComb is a patented and unique device that emits low-power laser light to the scalp in order to reduce hair loss and promote hair growth.
HairMax’s original laser comb was the first home-use LLLT device to receive FDA clearance for its safe and effective delivery of hair growth promoting technology that was also shown to treat hair loss in women.
This means that there was sufficient evidence provided to the FDA following clinical trials, that the device effectively prevents hair loss whilst ensuring safety.
Since then they have continually released additional new and improved devices, which Belgravia has made available to clients. As of May 2019, Belgravia is no longer offering the LaserComb devices, in favour of the latest, more efficient LaserBand.
LLLT devices can be used in addition to Belgravia’s minoxidil-centred hair loss treatment courses for women, as well as alongside the various hair growth supporting products patients may choose to use, such as the highly-targeted food supplements, Hair Vitalics for Women.
Belgravia’s hair loss specialists frequently find adding in LLLT delivery alongside the recommended treatments can provide a fully-rounded approach to treating thinning hair and has been seen to improve clients’ stabilisation of hair loss and hair regrowth.
About low level laser therapy for hair growth
Scientific studies on cell cultures have shown that laser light energy penetrates soft tissue and increases the action of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that is a major carrier of energy from one reaction site to another in all living cells. The most common example of light converting into chemical energy is photosynthesis, where plants are fed via light converted into chemical energy to improve and speed up growth. Low level laser therapy works in the same way, by improving and speeding up hair growth and revitalising, thickening and strengthening your existing hair.
LLLT devices are used with almost all treatment therapies for hair loss conditions and scalp issues at the Belgravia Centre.
