Tickets Now on Sale for Alopecia UK 'Big Weekend' 2015

People affected by hair loss can often feel alone and struggle to understand why it is happening or what they can do about it. This is especially true when it comes on suddenly - as it the case with alopecia.

Luckily, as well as hair loss treatment clinics like Belgravia, there are a host of organisations out there who can provide support and information. One of these is the charity Alopecia UK which provides impartial advice to help improve the lives of people with various types of alopecia. One of the ways in which Alopecia UK do this is through their annual 'Big Weekend' event.

Bringing people affected by alopecia together through events like the Big Weekend helps to build a supportive community and reduce feelings of isolation.

Many who attended the previous weekender told the charity how they loved that it helped them to feel 'normal', being surrounded by others with the same conditions, from Alopecia Areata to the most severe form, Alopecia Universalis.

In addition to the social aspect, this year's Big Weekend will feature an informative schedule of talks covering the latest research and treatments for alopecia, plus an interactive exhibitor’s area showcasing the latest products for those with alopecia.

How to get tickets from Alopecia UK

The 2015 Big Weekend takes place in Manchester on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, and organisers promise it will be 'bigger and better' than last year's sell-out London gathering.

Tickets are available for Alopecia UK members to purchase now, and go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday 10th June.
