Spectral DNC is a topical treatment that claims to combat the various causes of hair loss by combining selected ingredients, including one of the two clinically proven medications for hair loss, that are beneficial for hair growth and work to enhance the actions of each other.
Spectral DNC is not a licensed medicinal product, nor does it have the approval of relevant regulatory bodies for the treatment of hair loss. However it does contain minoxidil, which in itself is a clinically proven and licensed hair loss treatment.
The Medicines and Healthcare Product Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are responsible for the approval and licensing of safe medicinal products that have demonstrated efficacy for their intended purpose. There are only two products that have been individually approved and licensed by the MHRA and FDA for the treatment of hair loss in men and women.
