What can I do about a patch of Alopecia Areata?'

Question:

I have been diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. I only have one bold spot. At first it was the size of 50 pence, and in 3 weeks it got bigger. Now it’s the size of 3 hand fingers put together. The doctor recommended Clobetasol Propionate but it didn’t do anything. Is there any other treatment that I can try? If so will I need a prescription? If yes where can I get it from? I’ve had this condition for 3 months now with no signs of hair regrowth.

Answer: Here is an earlier post that will answer your questions. Following a free consultation with one of our hair loss specialists, and assuming you are declared suitable for treatment, Belgravia can provide you with a prescription for high strength minoxidil which should help.
