Question: My pattern baldness is more akin to female pattern baldness. My hairline isn’t receding from the sides but instead from the center, I’ve combed my hair parted for the last 20 years and now the part is growing, the front middle part of my scalp is thinning out a lot, hairline at the front isn’t that bad. What would you recommend?

Hi Tom. This sounds like a pattern of male hair loss known as general thinning.

Although many people may think of a thinning crown and/or a receding hairline when they think of how Male Pattern Baldness typically displays, there are other patterns of hair loss associated with this condition too.
