Harry Hill Edits The Beano As It Goes Bald For Comic Relief

Front cover of The Beano Red Nose Day special featuring Harry Hill Comedian and star of TV Burp Harry Hill will edit a one-off edition of comic The Beano in aid of Comic Relief. As well as writing some of his own strips for the special charity edition of the much-loved children’s comic, Hill also co-wrote the main Dennis the Menace strip, during which the cheeky character, famous for his messy crop of black hair, gets it all shaved off.

Balding Beano

A variety of other big names will also make their debut in the comic, including Jessie J, who plans to shave her own head to raise money for Comic Relief. The band One Direction, Olly Murs and ex-Dr Who David Tennant will also star, as the story line sees Dennis and Minnie the Minx put on a charity show.

Whilst stars like Jessie J undergoing voluntary hair loss sets both a brilliant example and gives hope to children dealing with hair loss, we understand that for many men, hair is shaved to disguise the signs of male pattern baldness rather than out of personal preference or for fundraising reasons.

If you want to prevent baldness, it is important to begin treatment as soon as possible to prevent hair getting to the stage where it can no longer be treated medically.

Is Hair Loss Your Dennis The Menace?

A tailored hair loss treatment programme can not only slow your rate of balding, but also regrow hair in the areas where it has thinned.

Male pattern baldness, which effects 95% of men with hair loss, can manifest itself in a variety of ways, and as such it is important to see a hair loss specialist to confirm your diagnosis and establish the best way to effectively treat your condition.

If the hair atop your head is thinning, perhaps you’ve noticed your thinning crown, the daily medication Propecia can help you fix the damage that has occurred to your scalp hair follicles due to the naturally occurring androgen DHT causing them to shrink and produce weaker hair.

Beating Baldness

If you’re experiencing a receding hairline, our unique high strength minoxidil formulations with added ingredients that also appear to block DHT have shown very encouraging results for a huge number of our clients. Minoxidil is dose dependent, and the Belgravia Pharmacy uniquely produces a variety of formulations to suit the individual’s need, which often surpasses the 5% solution available over the counter.

The above clinically proven medications are extremely complementary when used together, and this combined medical treatment approach forms the basis of the majority of our hair loss treatment programmes. Providing that your head is not completely bald and shiny in the manner of Mr Harry Hill, there’s every chance that when the hair loss medications are combined with our range of treatment boosters, hair can grow back in a thick and healthy manner.
