Dr Who's Karen Gillan Shows Off Shaved Head at Comic-Con

She had tricked fans the day before at Comic-Con International by wearing a red wig, but Karen Gillan decided to bare all on Saturday at the Marvel press line, fittingly after shaving her head for her role in the 2014 Marvel film Guardians Of The Galaxy

The Doctor Who actress, who will be playing the villainous pirate Nebula, has also recently starred in the British romcom Not Another Happy Ending, and will also be appearing in the upcoming supernatural thriller Oculus.

Gillan joins another successful British export Jessie J in going bald, and it will be interesting to see whether Gillan has as much fun with hair dye as Jessie J has been having! Gillan will also undoubtedly serve as a talking point for the issue of hair loss in women.
