Gabriel
Question: Hello, I was just wondering, can I use derma roller on my receding hair line to increase minoxidil absorption? Thanks.
Answer: Hi Gabriel, Although the dermaroller is often promoted as a device to help the absorption of products, such as hair loss treatment, into the skin, we are not aware of any clinical data to support this.
As such, and given we do not use them in either of Belgravia's hair loss clinics, or as part of our home-use courses, we do not recommend dermarollers to clients.
If you are looking for something to use in conjunction with your minoxidil, to help improve your hair's condition and receding hairline regrowth, there are a number of hair growth boosters worth investigating.
These include the HairMax Lasercomb which is an easy-to-use, handheld device which uses laser light therapy to penetrate the scalp. When run through the hair using the FDA-cleared comb's patented technique, these lasers stimulate the follicles, helping to promote faster hair growth.
We suggest you speak to a hair loss specialist so that they can recommend the products best-suited to your pattern and level of hair loss, as well as your lifestyle and medical profile.
