80s Legend Adam Ant Opens Up About Hair Loss

At the peak of his fame in the 1980’s, Adam Ant was somewhat unique. His punk-infused tunes and quirky good looks made him a magnet for his female fans and his image adorned many a young lady’s bedroom wall.
Now aged 58, the face may be the same but Ant’s hairline has all but disappeared, and as a result, he has resorted to wearing hats and bandanas to disguise his baldness. Talking about his hair loss in the Guardian newspaper, Adam Ant (née Stuart Goddard) said:
“I think to be a pop star you need sex, subversion, style and humour" and the hair loss seems gratuitously cruel. "Yeah," he admits with quiet sadness. "It was pretty awful."
"But I dunno you've just got to do what you can. It's part of the job, really. Just gotta get up, have a shave, and get on with it, really."
