Q&A: White Sticky Substance on Scalp Causing Hair Loss – Can You Help?
Name: Mithun
Question: I got really big problem with my scalp - a white sticky substance is sticking to my scalp which results in hair loss. It’s really itchy and irritating when I sweat. This has spread to my eyebrows now. I am slowly losing my eyebrows and now I am losing my hair a lot. I’m planning to take treatment for my hair and if you have have any natural ways of growing my hair back, I will start my treatment as soon possible. Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to send you this mail.
Answer: I would strongly suggest that you visit Belgravia for a consultation (which is free). It sounds like a severe case of Seborrhoeic Dermatitis or a condition referred to as Pityriasis Amiantacea, however we can not diagnose it until we have seen it.
It may be possible to treat the hair loss you have experienced as a result of your skin condition using proven hair loss treatments. These are prescriptive medications, so they are not ‘natural’. They are, however, safe to use if prescribed by a hair loss specialist. Our clients have achieved remarkable results which can be seen by taking a look at our extensive range of hair loss success stories.
To book a free consultation with the Belgravia Centre, please call 020 7730 6666 or message the centre. Alternatively, for a consultation via the website, you could submit an online diagnostic form with high-resolution photographs, however when it comes to scalp problems, it is better to visit the clinic in person.
