It's a case of knowing what can be achieved - a lot of men leave it too late when they first start to go bald.

By the time many have plucked up the courage to talk to someone about their hair loss it can be too late. There is no cure for baldness, but with the right preventative measures the onset of hair loss can be controlled and slowed down.

Personally speaking, I find there is not enough information for the lamen. The Hair Loss industry does appear to have its critics, but there is where education comes into effect.

Hi Cole

Thanks for your comment. I agree that most men (and many women) need to act as early as possible to ensure they keep as much hair as they can and it is sometimes the case that they act too late for various reasons.

It's a shame to think people feel they have to 'pluck up the courage' to speak to someone about their hair loss. It's a natural thing that most people experience at some point in their lives and seeking help is definitely not something to be worried or embarrased about - we see hundreds of people each week, every one of them experiencing hair loss or a scalp problem, so we're definitely used to it!

With regard to information on hair loss suitable for the layman; we try our best to provide extensive and understandable information on our website, which I feel is made clear and understandable to everyone who reads. If you have any suggestions for improvement I would definitely welcome them and take note!
