Q&A: Difference Between SE Compact & Premium HairMax LaserComb?

Name: Anon

Question: Does the SE Compact version of the HairMax LaserComb work as well as the Premium device? I notice that there are 5 beams in it, compared to the Premium one which has 9 beams. Has it been cleared by the FDA also? I notice that you give the SE Compact device free with your hair treatments.

The HairMax LaserComb is FDA-cleared for the treatment of hair loss.Answer: The SE Compact LaserComb and the Premium LaserComb are both HairMax LaserCombs. The Premium LaserComb was cleared by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) in 2007 for the treatment of hair loss. More recently, the SE Compact LaserComb was released, along with the LaserComb Premium Nine Beam. These International versions have been proven to be substantially equivalent to the original Premium models by two labs in the USA according to HairMax, and feature 220VAC operation.

The Premium LaserComb has 9 beams hence you need to use it for 10-15 minutes whereas the SE Compact LaserComb has 5 beams and needs to be used for about 15-20 minutes. The SE Compact version is handy when travelling. They work exactly the same way, the compact one is simply a mini-version and it is much lighter than the Premium version.

Yes, the SE Compact version is free with if a client pays for a twelve months hair loss treatment course in full. Please note that the Belgravia Centre does not recommend either LaserComb as a stand-alone treatment for hair loss, rather it complements and may enhance proven treatments Minoxidil and Propecia when these are tailored to an individual’s type and stage of hair loss.
