Provillus is a supplement containing vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are thought to help maintain and improve the condition of the hair.  There is no firm scientific or clinical evidence to suggest any of the products contained in Provillus will significantly prevent hair loss or regrow hair for those experiencing hair loss.

On Provillus’ website there is no mention of clinical trials and no success rates stated.  Provillus is a product marketed for hair loss prevention and hair regrowth but there is no clinical evidence to back this up.

At the Belgravia Centre we produce a similar supplement containing many of the same ingredients - Hair Vitalics.  However, Hair Vitalics is advertised as a complementary product to the medically proven hair loss treatments, not a product that will individually prevent or reverse hair loss.  Like Provillus, Hair Vitalics can help to maintain and improve the condition of the hair but we do not advise it to be used as an individual hair loss preventative.

So what’s the difference between a herbal treatment such as Provillus or Hair Vitalics, and a medically proven treatment?

Well, in the case of hair loss there are only two treatments that are medically proven to prevent and reverse hair loss - neither of them are herbal.  They are the only products that have undergone vigorous and extensive clinical trials that have been overlooked by government bodies that regulate the licensing of medicines - in the USA this body is called the FDA.  If something has FDA approval, then you can trust that it works and at the same time is safe.
