Jason Gardiner Reveals Hair Transplant
Jason Gardiner, a judge on the ITV hit show Dancing On Ice, has proudly revealed the results of a £22,000 hair transplant. The judge’s fuller head of hair was plain for all to see at last night’s show finale, and his ear-to-ear smile suggested he was very pleased with the results.
Hair transplants work by taking tissue from the back of the patient’s head, and then grafting the hair follicles to the balding parts of the scalp. They are a popular hairloss treatment amongst celebrities, but their price tag makes them unaffordable for most of the general public. The results are not instant: in Mr. Gardiner’s case, he had an eight hour operation and then waited almost a year for the results to grow through.
Options for hair loss treatment
Fortunately there are other options for the treatment of hairloss that are both more affordable than a hair transplant and in many cases more effective too. It’s also the case that results can often be seen within three months (have a look at our Success Stories for results and timelines).
There are two hair re-growth products, Propecia and Minoxidil, which have been scientifically proven to be effective in the treatment of genetic hair loss. Both products have been licensed by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in the UK and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US.
At The Belgravia Centre, we maximise the results of our hair loss treatments by creating a bespoke programme for each client that often includes additional hair loss products such as our Hair Vitalics nutritional supplement, laser combs and clinical treatments aimed at optimising hair growth. Every client is closely monitored by our hair loss experts.
The Belgravia Centre offers a free initial consultation to anyone interested in exploring options for hairloss treatment – and our success stories speak for themselves. If you’re not local to our hair loss clinic in London, you can fill out our online diagnostic form instead to take advantage of our mail order hair loss service.
