Is Kristen Stewart Experiencing Female Hair Loss?

Kristen Stewart Female Pattern Hair Loss The Belgravia CentreYoung Hollywood starlet Kristen Stewart has been photographed this week showing clear signs of female hair loss whilst filming a new movie in Berlin. 23 year-old Stewart’s parting extends to a large bald patch on her temple, revealing new and significant hair loss.

Recent high profile relationship problems with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson have undoubtedly placed pressure on Stewart, suggesting that the hair loss could be stress-related. Telogen Effluvium, a hair loss condition closely associated with stress and trauma, could be the cause.

Delayed onset hairloss

Telogen Effluvium is caused by hair follicles to enter a resting phase (known as telogen) during which time the attached hair stops growing completely. After three months or so, the hair falls out creating bald patches.

The good news for people experiencing hair loss as a result of Telogen Effluvium is that the condition tends to resolve itself over time.

How to treat hairloss

Hair loss is complicated condition, with many different potential factors and causes. Although Kristen Stewart’s hair loss could be stress-related, it is impossible to give a true diagnosi without examination by a hair loss expert.

Hair loss treatments are always more effective when started early, so waiting to see whether hair will grow back of its own accord could be a critical mistake. Any woman (or man) who notices bald patches developing should seek professional advice immediately to increase the chances of successful hair regrowth.

Should the hair loss be due to another factor, hair loss experts can create a custom treatment plan tailored to the individual’s specific needs so that she (or he) has all the medications and dietary supplements required for healthy, natural regrowth.

Here at The Belgravia Centre our hair loss experts have experience of successfully diagnosing and treating a wide variety of hair loss conditions.
