How To Treat a Receding Hairline
A ‘widow’s peak’ is when the hairline at the front of the scalp forms a ‘V’ shape. While this is more often seen in men, it can affect women also. Sometimes a widow’s peak is just how your hair grows, but if the outline becomes more distinctive, and is accompanied by thinning hair on the top of the crown, it is often the early sign of male pattern baldness. While many men worry at this obvious change to their appearance, it is the best time to take action to prevent hair loss. Minoxidil
The exact mechanism by which Minoxidil makes hair grow is unknown however it is believed that it opens up the potassium channels which in turn allows more nutrient to reach the scalp resulting in hair growth.
