Q&A: How Long Does it Take for Hair to Re-grow?
Name: R
Question: How long does it take for hair to re-grow back?
Answer: The length of time it takes for hair to grow back depends on the individual and the type of hair loss condition. Hair loss in men is usually genetic and the earlier it is diagnosed the more successfuly it can be treated using proven products Minoxidil and/or Propecia. A patient may see results after just 4 weeks or it may take up to a year.
For hair loss in women, there may be a number of factors including genetics, nutritional deficiencies, stress, hormones, pregnancy, medications and thyroid disease. Once the underlying cause is resolved, again the hair can take anything between 4 weeks and a year to re-grow.
The best way to find out how long your hair should take to restore itself is to come in for a consultation with a hair loss specialist who can diagnose the condition and advise on an individualised treatment programme. To book a free consultation with The Belgravia Centre, please call 020 7730 6666 or message the clinic. Alternatively, you can fill out the online diagnostic form and a treatment advisor will be in touch with you shortly.
