‘How Do I Boost Receding Hairline Regrowth Results?’

HairlossANSWERS - Click to Submit Your Query to Our Hair Loss Experts

Name: Harry

Question: Hi, I’m 20 and have a receding hairline yet it’s relatively thick hair. I’ve been on propecia a nearly a year now and I’m fairly happy with the results however I was just wondering if anything more can be done or whether that’s the full extent of what hair can be saved/regrown? I don’t live close to London either so I was wondering if regular trips were required to the clinic or not? I’ve completed a diagnosis form and looking forward to hearing from you.

Answer: Hi Harry. A receding hairline, particularly around the temples, is the most stubborn area of the scalp in terms of regrowing hair and can be the slowest to see results.

Belgravia Centre Male Hair Loss Treatment ProductsWhilst it’s great news that you’re seeing results from using just Propecia (finasteride 1mg), there are definitely other hair loss treatments you can try to boost your regrowth.

The first would be combining your finasteride 1mg use with daily applications of a high strength minoxidil. This is administered directly to areas with thinning hair so, in your case, around the hairline.

The minoxidil helps to stimulate regrowth, complimenting the action of finasteride 1mg which is designed to inhibit the formation of DHT which causes Male Pattern Baldness.

Whilst it is always good for clients to visit us at one of our Central London hair loss clinics so that we can check up on their progress, answer any questions and provide clinical therapy treatments, it is not a necessity – as our international client base proves.

Beneficial hair growth boosters which can be used at home include Hair Vitalics one-a-day dietary supplements to improve the condition and strength of the hair from within. The award-winning HairMax LaserComb, which is included free of charge with most Belgravia treatment courses, provides low-level light therapy that gets straight to the scalp. The convenient handheld device can be used at home to further promote hair growth.

As you have completed our Online Consultation, one of our hair loss specialists will be in touch shortly to provide you with personalised advice on the best course of action for your specific stage of shedding.
