Question: Hi… I’m a 21 year old boy.I’ve been suffering from hair loss for almost 2 years, but luckily I visited a doctor as soon as I noticed that I was losing my hair. I’ve been using finastride 1% for a year and also minoxa shampoo.I’m not losing my hair right now but mine is thin(specialy on temples).I wanna know if there is any way i can improve my hair.I am from Iran.Looks like i can not acces to your department…please help me.I wanna be one of those people on your gallery… Thanks

Thinning Hair at the TemplesAnswer: Hi, Hossein. It sounds like you are on the right track to tackle any signs of male pattern hair loss.

We are unfamiliar with Minoxa shampoo as this is not widely available in the UK, however you may be better off investigating minoxidil rather than a shampoo. Minoxidil is an MHRA and FDA approved male hair loss treatment which is used once or twice per day and needs to be left to soak into the scalp – not washed off, as with a shampoo. It can be used alongside finasteride 1mg as part of a comprehensive treatment and regrowth course.

At Belgravia, we have seen significant regrowth results to thinning hair, particularly receding hairlines which are the most stubborn areas to treat, from using a high strength minoxidil. As this type of treatment is applied directly to the affected area, or areas, it is quick and easy to control where it is used, so this is definitely worth exploring in relation to your thinning temples.

Unfortunately, although we do offer an international home-use service to clients based abroad, we are unable to send our products to Iran. As such, we recommend you speak to a local hair loss specialist about what they can offer you in this regard.
