Home Remedies For Hair Loss

Elizabeth Taylor CleopatraThere are many old wives tales concerning cures for hair loss. Back in Ancient Egypt, those seeking a fuller head of hair would say a magic spell and swallow a mix of onions, iron, red lead, honey and alabaster. In 17th Century England, there are records of a physician recommending mouse and hedgehog dung. Happily though, home treatment methods and medications have moved on somewhat, and you no longer need to fashion a mouse dropping toupée to solve hair loss worries.

The Modern Way

At The Belgravia Centre, all our medications and treatments can be administered in the comfort of your own home. Of course, we like clients to come in for quarterly check ups, and this is so we can measure their progress, discuss how they’re getting on with the medication, and it also gives them the option of a relaxing clinical treatment. However, we recognise that for some people visiting the clinic is impossible, and we try to offer our clients support in a variety of ways.

Whilst everyone tackling hair loss would like a hair loss specialist within easy reach (indeed, it is rumoured that Cleopatra lovingly concocted a hair loss remedy from horse teeth, bear grease and burnt mice for Julius Caesar)  we know that’s not possible, so our hair loss specialists are available seven days a week at the clinic, or to talk with on the phone or over email to discuss any aspect of a client’s treatment programme and related concerns.

What We Offer

Our treatment programmes can be posted to wherever in the world the client might be, or picked up from the clinic. We can post discreet parcels to your work or home address and offer next day services when the location permits. Your bespoke treatment plan will be composed of prescription medications Propecia and minoxidil (Propecia is only suitable for male use) and an array of treatment boosters, such as nutritional supplement Hair Vitalics, the LaserComb and specialised shampoos and conditioners.

To find out more, or to arrange a free consultation, you can call us on 0800 77 6666 or message us here. If you’re unable to get to our central London clinic, an online diagnostic form will allow a hair loss specialist to diagnose your condition and compile a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
