Does Cucumber Make the Hair Grow Faster?

Baby Eating CucumberName: Tin

Question: I heard if i eat a cucumber every day my hair will grow faster and longer, and that if i wash my hair every morning it will grow longer quickly. Is that true? My hair is very damaged so I have cut it very short and now I want it to grow back as fast as possible. Please let me know how to do this.

Answer: Cucumber contains ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and caffeic acid, fiber, along with minerals like silica, potassium and magnesium. Silica is renowned to be good for the hair and so are the other vitamins. Eating cucumber as part of a healthy diet will be good for the health and hair in general.

So it may help your hair grow quicker, but it’s not going to make a huge difference. And washing your hair every day is good, because it will keep it nice and clean, but again, unfortunately it’s not going to make a big difference to the speed that your hair grows.

The good news is it’s coming into the summer and it’s a fact that hair grows faster in the sun!
