Do you treat Lichen Planus?

Question: I visited your branch at Victoria a while ago. I was told that the problem I had should be dealt with my GP. I have now got a name for my problem. A biopsy was taken from the front of my hair line and diagnosed with Lichen Planus! Anyway, I just wondering if you have any treatment for this kind of problem?

Answer: Lichen Planus is an autoimmune condition that causes a patchy scarring form of hair loss. When the follicles scar it is impossible for the hair to grow back. For this reason, I'm afraid, we do not treat the condition at Belgravia, as our hair loss treatments are only effective if the hair follicle has not completely ceased to produce hair.
