Comment: As you can see, Ms Shrestha was experiencing both female pattern hair loss and a patch of alopecia areata when she first visited the centre.  Her hair loss treatment course has cleared up the alopecia patch and also thickened up the general density of her hair.  You can see this by the reduction of width of her parting in the second photo-scan compared to the first.

Comment: Unfortunately Mr Ravi started using his treatment course for hair loss before we began to take photo-scans of patients so no regrowth was recorded in the photos as regrowth usually takes place within the first year.  The photo-scans do however show that Mr Ravi’s treatment course has maintained his hairs’ density for almost 7 years.  It is likely that without treatment Mr Ravi’s hair would now be considerably thinner, if not completely bald.

I am a very busy hairdresser, I have noticed over the years a number of my customers have had that ‘normal’ hair thinning that happens as you get older, I have always sympathised and commented that it happens to lots of people ‘even my mum’.
 
I felt sympathy of course but what could I do, it is what happens. Some ladies have lost a 3rd or more of their normal quantity of hair. Doctors prescribed some of them vitamins or special shampoo - caprasal or cole tar….which helped slightly with scalp irritation or dry skin conditions. But their hair kept thinning.
 
I had noticed my hair had thinned a bit mainly at the temples over the last few years - I am 49, THEN horror of all horrors my hair started to fall out at an alarming rate! I looked at photos of my mum when she was my age, (now 72)… her hair was full and healthy looking. Her hair is still manageable but very thin. I PANICKED, I love my hair.
 
I got on the internet and after a lot of searching and hours of reading I decided The Belgravia Centre seemed the most professional and well put together web site. I phoned Thursday afternoon and got an appointment at the clinic in London at 1 pm the following day.
 
The lady I spoke to on the phone was informative, sympathetic, friendly, and understanding.
 
I went to the clinic the next day and took the view, although I was sceptical, that I had got more to lose (MY HAIR) than the cost of treatment.
 
I had a scalp examination, advice and diagnosis of Female pattern hair loss and a therapeutic scalp treatment that very day, I was also given treatment to take home for the Psoriasis which I have from time to time at the back of my head. I was told I would receive the Belgravia pharmacy’s Minoxidil + MPG lotion and to use it twice a day, but that my hair would grow back and stay…. and it has, I have more hair than I have had for years.
 
My confidence is improved and numerous customers are saying how good and thick my hair is getting. The photos you see here are results after 5 months treatment, I feel it is even fuller 9 months on, and I will update the photos when I next visit Belgravia.
